Since There's a Hurricane Outside...

Since it is raining and blowing outside as Hurricane Irene passes through Boston, I thought there was no better time to sit down and do a little bit of updating for you. :)

Friday I moved back to school :) And I celebrated my birthday by going out to our favorite salsa club with 3 of the girls! I have to say, it was possibly one of the funniest and most fun nights I've had in a very long time. I will always fondly remember the times when all we did was laugh and act silly while we were young. I look forward to the day when I can look back and smile about the nights like that one.

The room this year is just me and one of my roommates from last year. The actual room itself is about the size of the one I had last year, but that was just my room alone. This is a room I have to share. A fact that I'm still kind of getting used to. But I don't really care because my roomie is the best ever anyway :)

I plan on posting photos and maybe a video tour of the room so you can see exactly where it is that I'm living :)

That's all for now. I'm off to read Cosmo & Water for Elephants while watching the rain fall :)

Peace, ♥, and happiness! :)

I'm 20!

Yesterday was my 20th birthday! I am now no longer a teen. Also, there are only 6 days until I move back to school and see my friends. I don't have much time to update now as I'm getting ready to work yet again, but I am planning a re-design for the blog to fit fall and school, so look for that coming soon!

Peace, ♥, and happiness! :)

Life is Beautiful, It Is A Blessing...

Otherwise known as: "La vida es bella, es una bendicion."

I could not love this song and its message any more.

Boston Trip #3

Well readers, here we are. Abby has finally decided to grace this page with her words once again, with only 15 days until she moves back to school and 8 days until the big 2-0! (I will no longer be able to use the excuse that I am "Still a teenager" which scares the living crap out of me...)

I figure that an update is due! For my third trip to Boston this summer, I was able to meet up with 3 out of the 5 amazing women that I am blessed to call my friends, and with whom I shared most of last years' amazing adventures with. Keri, Kiara, and Roudna! We met up at Park Street and strolled over to the wharf, then made our way to the North End for some lunch. Afterwards we soaked up the sun while being all kinds of touristy and walking and simply enjoying the ability to catch up with each other and spend some time in the city we all miss so much! (Except Roudna because she lives there year round!) We sat in a little park near Quincy Market and laughed at kids running around in the fountains to cool off. Lastly, we waited in line at Mike's Pastry to get some delicious Cannoli! Here are some pictures from that:

And a happy Abby.

In other unrelated news, I have hopped on the feather extension trend. I'll post pictures as soon as they arrive in the mail and I put them in! :)

Peace, ♥, and happiness! :)

It Is 3 AM

I know I know... I consistently fail at posting for the month of July. But at least I'm consistent about something right? Okay, sure. Haha.

The reason I haven't been posting tons is that work is really keeping me busy lately. That and being super exhausted to the point where writing becomes a chore when I get home from work. I've been working Monday-Saturday with Sunday as my only day off. On top of that, my shifts are normally 4 or 5pm until closing which is 10 or 11 most nights. So needless to say, I don't get home until rather late at night lately.

I'll update on another Boston adventure soon, but for now it's bedtime for this blogger.

Peace, ♥, and happiness! :)
